Patrick Kane is my favorite player in the NHL, and how would I love to see him in Black. Rumors are he could be a Ranger, but the Kings are also in the conversation. I know the Kings are pretty deep with prospects, and are sitting a game back of the #1 seed in the Western Conference. What will Chicago want?

Where will he end up come March 3rd, when the NHL trade deadline hits?
Post your predictions.

Reno is he still producing well?

Sorry I haven't been following closely
He had a good season last season best since 2019 and is consistent, This year he's having a slightly down year, but still productive, Need to note that the Blackhawks are also dead last in the NHL so a change of scenery to a winning team could change that.

Teams in the run are going to want to add him, I think, but it's the NHL so even big players get traded for prospects, which are a valuable commodity in the NHL. I think the Hawks will trade him as they are going to be in rebuild mode, and they should trade him if they do it right, which they have a history of building the right way.

He's the biggest name and best player on the trading block IMO.

and speak of the Devil. Toronto passed on Kane from what I've heard. They are playing the Leafs right now. Kane just scored his 3rd goal of the game (hat Trick) giving the Hawks a 3-1 lead. That's what he adds to a team.

Hawks are over 2-1 dogs tonight

nah, sabres have a bright future. Why add a 34 yr old who has lost a step and is a clear defensive liability. Sabres can score, top 3 offense in the East. As you said, needhelp on dee and some sandpaper 3rd/4th lines.
agree with Brendan, car is a goof fit.

oh, and yeah he aint in his prime, lol

Well, it would be typical Sabres and since he is from there...

He had 91 points last season. Probably has 2 good years before he starts to hit the decline. Not a guy to build a team around, but he's still got it. If this was Stamkos it would be bigger news, but he's American so he's going to get shorted that 13 cents on the cab ride.

I think Islanders or Devils would make the most sense.

I suppose it may boil down to what happens with Meier who is the top offensive talent likely available at the deadline, and he’s eight years younger than Kane. Meier to NJ is still very much a possibility, but Jersey won’t include Mercer in any deal and SJ hasn’t budged, yet.

Carolina seems the next most likely landing spot for Meier, which might mean Kane stays put. I keep hearing Edmonton and Vegas as potential landing spots after the Rangers and Leafs went in a different directions. Not sure there’s a huge market for an aging forward on the decline who has a no-trade clause and is heading to free agency, but if the price is right and Kane waived his no-trade clause, it could happen.

More of a market on some of these defensemen, mainly Chychrun and Gavrikov. I expect Chychrun to end up in LA, although Ottawa seem to be making a late push while Gavrikov is likely headed to Boston.

Meier and Chychrun are the gems available

Edm to go after Kane would be laughable. Edm cant hold a lead , and to add a Kane-type player ? LOL ...they had a 4-1 lead vs the Rangers a week ago or so and vanished--par for the course . And the Leafs got so lucky Campbell was asking that much/length of deal , gl Oilers with that guy

Biggest problem with Kane is his reoccurring injury . Who’s going to give up picks or pieces for a ticking time bomb.

Chychrun to LA makes a lot of sense. We need another top D. I think L.A. is a year ahead of the rebuild, and think 2024 will be a contention year, the thing that bothers me the most is their goal differential. They're only +2 while all the other top teams are +20 or higher. Better D could fix that, now that their scoring is mostly fixed.
